Worked fine for us

I decided to take our own pictures so we could select the best one. It was that or pay AAA $8 a picture.
I took my own picture against the white closet door.
I my case where I took my own picture, I used my laptop computer to control my Canon Rebel. I could see the image before taking the picture.
In the process, I learned the camera resolution should be about 1 to 3 megapixels. This makes the zoom resolution
to set the hair to chin size at around .5. I used the rotation to correct for my leaning to press the touch pad to to take the
picture.
In the resulting pictures dragged into the program, the background was not quite white as required. I increased the brightness and
and the contrast and saturation to get the desired results.
I used the grid and outline to finnish the picture.
The part I found most time consuming was getting the the height between top of the hair to the bottom of the chin within the 1. to 1.38 inch limits.
After I took my wifes picture, the process went much faster.
Second, I was able adjust the final flesh tones to my liking.
Four stars because of the effort required to get the size right.
